The Department of Electronics and Communication Lab Facilities Engineering was established in the year 1996. Thus from a Alumni modest beginning in 1996, the department has come a long Syllabus way. The department has always strived to maintain Achievements its high standards. Apart from the theoretical course work, the department believes that the students should have a sound knowledge in practical work. In view of the above the department offers practical courses in Electronic devices &Components, Digital Electronics, Electronic circuits, Measurements and instruments, Power Electronics, Communication Engineering Lab, Microprocessor & Micro controller applications, Communication systems, Industrial Electronics.
These labs promise to pose new and challenging problems to the students and provide the necessary knowledge. The students of the department always hold the name of the institution in good repute. The aim of the Electronics and Communication Engineers is the transmission of information with least probability of error.
The Department has a devoted team of faculty members who are well qualified and experienced in the areas of Communication systems, Power Electronics and related software and hardware tools.

Our college placement cell offered campus interview and inplant training for second and third year students for every year. In the year (2003-2004) ten final semester students were selected for job training in Singapore. In every year, maximum number of students are participated and selected for job in various organizations[SAINT,WIPRO,HCL]
Our department organized for National level seminar as to upgrade our staff members. During this seminar, industrial experts from embedded and VLSI fields gave lecture about the technologies. The special topics covered by them was provided as a course material to the participants and is also kept in the form of CD’s for the future development of our institution.
Visiting Faculties are arranged for students from our Engineering college and arts & science college.Entrepreneurship Development Programmes were conducted for final year students for every year. In this programme officials from District industry center (DIC), SIDCO are predicated and deliver the rules and regulations for the proceedings. Guest Lecturer are arranged in the Latest trends in Communication area.
Every year career guidance programme are conducted for the final year students.During this session , guidelines for job searching , resume preparing, job opportunities and moke interview are conducted. So that they on get ideas about future.
Regularly once in a week it is conducted by a seperate wing and also practical sessions are created to improve the skill.
Women's development programmes are conducted regularly at three months once by a development committee. At the time, guidelines and motivation is given by the facilitators.
